Why Faith Presbyterian Hospice? Faith Presbyterian Hospice provides hospice care in the home, nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living communities and in our free-standing inpatient hospice center, the T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center.
Our Child and Family Bereavement Center is the first of its kind in the Metroplex where healthy, hope-filled emotional support for grieving families is offered. Our child life specialist, social worker and bereavement coordinator offer support when children are involved. The comprehensive array of services includes individual and family counseling, music therapy, art therapy, play therapy and peer group therapy. As a non-profit organization, our bottom line is the quality of service and depth of compassion that we provide. Our commitment is to ease the passage of life with dignity and comfort, while meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient and family.
It may interest you to know that Faith holds the Gold Seal Certification by the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Facilities for excellence in healthcare quality and safety. Very few hospice centers seek or attain this level of recognition, which is a critical benchmark to consider when choosing hospice services. Faith is also accredited by the National Institute for Jewish Hospice, specially trained to care for those patients and families in the traditions of the Jewish faith.
